We are seeking a part-time temporary accounting assistant to assist with Billing, AR and AP projects as needed in our Concord location
Duties
Experience: 1-3 years of increasingly responsible experience in billing, AR or AP or a combination of education and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work.

Duties
- Maintain active customer support for the AR Department which includes sending out invoices and answering customer related invoice questions.
- Interact with vendors, management, team members and other staff to understand their needs.
- Prepare and process invoices
- Assist in monitoring customer accounts and assist in collection efforts
- Assist as needed with AP, AR and Billing tasks as assigned.
- Become cross trained in other lines of business to help become backup support
Experience: 1-3 years of increasingly responsible experience in billing, AR or AP or a combination of education and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work.
Qualifications and Skills:
- ERP system knowledge and knowledge of general accounting processes and principals
- Proven experience in a billing or accounts receivable role, with a strong understanding of billing procedures.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle complex and sensitive billing inquiries with patience and professionalism.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Access) and the ability to quickly learn new database systems like MLS.
- Excellent data entry skills with a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully in a team environment.
